Love to Ride Lincoln!!

Love to Ride Lincoln is a website for new and existing cyclists in Lincoln.

The site invites and challenges individual cyclists or groups of friends and colleagues to ride the length of the UK virtually from Land’s End to John O’Groats. The 850 mile route can be tackled individually, as a team relay or as a race. People ride their bikes and record their miles on the Love to Ride Lincoln website. There are great prizes up for grabs just by taking part in the virtual ride including bike gear and local restaurant vouchers.

Love to Ride Lincoln has been launched in partnership with Lincolnshire County Council as part of a £4.9m ‘Access LN6’ programme to improve sustainable transport options in the LN6 area. Find out more information about Love to Ride Lincoln at www.lovetoride.net/lincoln.

Student Switch Off update

Student Switch Off logo

We’ve had a great start to our Student Switch Off campaign.  Around 9% of the residents of Student Village have pledged support to the campaign.  Overall we’ve seen a meaningful reduction in electricity use across the courts, but some have been trying harder than others

There’s been a great response to the photo competitions and we’ve even had one our students’ pictures entered into a national competition – take a look:  www.facebook.com/studentswitchoff
