Go Green Week – 6th – 10th February 2012

This year the University of Lincoln is holding its first Go Green Week. Each day has a different theme with lots of related activities going on. Here’s what Monday 6th has in store:

Monday 6th – Energy and Carbon – Main Admin Building

Information on everything from the science of climate change, to university ambitions to cut carbon, how energy efficient your campus building is, and what you can do at home to save energy.

There is also a Talk on Climate Change with a opportunity for Q&A. This is aimed at those who want to improve their understanding of the science behind climate change. Come  along to the Main Admin Building for 12.3pm.

We’re also encouraging students to link in with the NUS campaign ‘Snap it Off!’. If you see any lights on across the campus that really don’t need to be, take photo and load it onto the NUS website http://snapitoff.nus.org.uk (or email it to environment@lincoln.ac.uk).

Also, we’ll be aiming to keep you updated via our Twitter feed @GreenLincolnUni and facebook.com/greenlincolnuni.
